A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android

You worked yourself into an early grave. A bored goddess dug you back out, and the terms are short: every month, you cook her a meal worth her time.

She dropped you in Emberdale, a village in a world where the animals are wrong, the vegetables are worse, men are scarce, and the women are very generously equipped. Your knife came with you. Start there.

GOCK is a visual novel welded to a card game. You gather with cards, cook what you gather, and the cooking cheats the cards back.

How it works

  • Exploring. The map runs on modified blackjack. Hit for another ingredient, stand to bank the hand, bust and walk home with nothing. Colour runs and flushes pay extra, so the safe stand is rarely the good one.
  • Cooking. Haul the ingredients back to a kitchen and cook. Recipes take substitutes when you are short. After the first goddess meal your recipes are perfected: one free dish a day, your pick.
  • Cheats. Eating a perfected dish arms a cheat you spend on the cards: add one, subtract one, flip a 2 into a 5, turn a card red, turn a suit to hearts. Missing a threshold by a single point stops being bad luck and starts being a decision.
  • Sealing. Monsters are not stabbed, they are sealed. Every monster carries seal slots with rules on them, exactly two spades, three cards that are not spades, one red card, and you close them with the hand you drew.
  • The Cindervale Depths. Seven floors of branching nodes under the mountain. You pick the way down and you pick when to leave with what you are carrying.
  • The goddess meal. At the end of the month you cook for Elyria. The plate matters. So does how you behave at her table.

The village

  • Astrid, the drakan blacksmith who rents you her spare room. Horns, red eyes, skin that runs hot, an apron and nothing above it. She forges your tools, and in 0.17 you talk her into building an oven.
  • Mira, the half moon elf who owns the Lusty Wench and cannot cook a single thing. The inn's reputation is her problem. Teaching her is yours.
  • Kael, the nature elf running the general store. Buys, sells, invents, blushes at roughly everything. Two speeds: stammering wreck, or a hundred words a second about alchemy.
  • Helga, the blushcow-kin farmer on the outskirts. Fills a doorway. Feeds you before you can get a sentence out.
  • Elyria, the goddess, and the reason you have a pulse. She wants twelve meals. She has not said what happens after the twelfth.

any plans for a female or futa protag?

(+1)

Hey like this game a lot, can i ask when is the next update?

Have a great day!

(+1)

today apparently

Without a doubt, this has become one of my favorite erotic games; I love the art and the *futa-on-male* concept—since there are hardly any games like this—though I also hope there will be some *male-on-futa* scenes in the future. Not to mention the art, which is absolutely beautiful.
And, if possible, could you give me a hand? PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET *CINDERVALE DEPTHS*! I’ve tried everything but haven't been able to get it. Did I miss something? Was there something I needed to do beforehand? Or has it not been fully implemented yet?

Glad you are enjoying it. The focus is futa-on-male, but as I mentioned, when it feels right, there will be male-on-futa (for example, the side scene in 0.2 where Mira and Astrid do something nice for you first, though it is just a HJ).

Cindervale Depths is in the Slime Hollow. (as a reward drop, like the iron mines)

How do you heal from the damage done to you in battle I am early doing quest for iron but rather beaten up in process and keep being defeated?

ups, there is a patch in the downloads now just drag it to your /game folder.

How's the development going so far?

(+2)

This game has a ton of potential, so I'm really looking forward to more!

Also, are you going to update the dinner table artwork for every new character you implement? Since that feels really original.

Either way, keep up the great work. 🤟

The banner looks like a parody of the Last Supper so i imagine there will be 9 more characters coming eventually.

Hope the game gets the recognition it deserves. The story, characters, gameplay, sounds, and character design are all top-notch. If I had to pick something that could be improved, it would be adding moaning sounds to the NSFW scenes. I was also pleasantly surprised that the scenes were animated. I hope that in the future you will have the resources to improve these animations so that they are more consistent and do not have such noticeable artifacts.

I would also like to suggest creating a Discord server where people could suggest ideas for the game, point out bugs, and simply express their gratitude and follow the game's development.

Ohmami

Hi, I've read the info about this game and your future plans. If you're going to feature lots of futanari sex scenes (especially futa-on-male), I can already tell you that I'll follow you both here and on your Patreon. I hope you'll do a lot for this game. I have high hopes.

PS: Are you going to feature anything giantess in the future?

(+5)

Hello, thanks for playing and tysm for supporting, the main focus of this game is futa on male, so you should hopefully expect more.
for the last part i have played some giantess games that had futa tag on them, but was dispointed so i understand poeple wanting that. Sadly of the planned npc and LI, there isn't a giantess, but i am interested in the idea, maybe in the future (far future?) when all charcters i planned are fully fleshed out i would start doing side characters and oneshots (a quest) of a giantess since i think it could be intresting, but that is not a promise! sorry! Thank you again for playing and supporting!

(+1)

no thanks to you for answering, I'm not disappointed by the answer about the giogantessa it was an idea but nothing so disappointing on the contrary, seeing so many futa on male things is already the most beautiful thing for me, so I will follow you a lot

(+2)

is the main quest "wait for the moth to end" actually implemented? ive done the other quests for the innkeeper and the blacksmith, i also coocked all the dishes, and then sped up beyond day 100, but the month doesnt seem to ever end

(+2)

Oh... sorry about that mb, ig I should have mentioned/added something to show that this hasn't been implemented yet. I thought the status screen (p) would kinda show that you'd done all content. Thanks for the feedback, hope you enjoyed what you played, again sorry for not including an end message, also don't worry about the 100 days (the next update will reset it back to the correct day without losing whatever you collected)

(+7)

hell yeah futa game

(1 edit) (+3)

This seems really good so far. It's rare that there's a male MC in one of these kinds of games where I actually like them as a character.

My only critique is the the explore system is a little unintuitive for me. The black jack style bust mechanic makes sense, but what makes a good hand for ingredients seems to be more poker-like. I think it's actually really neat as a game mechanic, but just needs a little more explanation. And maybe a way to see what cards you've already flipped in a week without having to track on notepad.

I'll definitely keep check back for updates.

thank you for checking it out, yeah i wanted people to test the game as soon as possible because i feel it is hard for me to grasp how intuitive it is since i am the one designing, so thank you for the feedback the idea is kinda somewhat a mix between blackjack and poker, but yeah i prob need to first note down all possible combos (also add more) and prob have them handy to the player instead of just guessing what is a valid combo for a bonus, good point on keeping the cards flipped visible to the player i was thinking at first to add cheat recipes to let you do stuff that would kinda do that/help you count cards but the more i think about it the more it makes sense to just let the player see them (since as you noted most would prob count/keep a list anyway)
